FI o-ring deterioration from sitting using today's gas pump fuel
Exhaust manifold de-rusted, valve cover & intake manifold cleaned
Valve cover polished & decal installed
Proper GF-90 fuel filter installed
FI unit cleaned & polished for show, installed & run 15 minutes, no leaks
Amp gauge removed and repaired
FI drive cable at bad angle, proned to breaking
FI drive cable corrected by moving distributor to proper position
PCV system & temp wire brackets installed
New spark plug heat shields installed
Right frame motor mount support derusted & painted
New dated expansion tank w/inspection sticker, GM marked hose, correct straps installed
Expansion tank w/inspection sticker
New correct ribbed heater hoses, spring ring clamps, aluminum tie straps installed
New correct radiator cap
First test run generated a short to do list, a great driver
Added "16 CT" ink stamp & caution label to what may be original radiator
Jack compartment floor painted semi-gloss black
Disassemble FI nozzles & clean to achieve reliable idle
Nozzles cleaned, assembled, & ready to install
Adjust seat height ('63 only). Original frames & foam excellent condition
Under side inspection: great frame clean & straight w/original factory paint areas, new xhaust, shocks, brake sys. Drain engine oil from trans & fill w/ 90 wt.
Car didn't stop as well as expected: inspect fronts, new Bendix shoes, clean & sand 220 grit to wear them in
Original heater core being replaced
Original heater core GM # 3008574, 55 years old
Replacing original steel transmission speedometer drive gear (all replacements were plastic)
