A Visit With Tom Jenkins

Tommy At Work

Background: Tommy Jenkins has been working at his craft for about forty years. He started out as his father's protege in his early teens and later bought the family business. During the 60's he began servicing exotics like Ferraris. He began building custom cars during the early 70's. In recent times his specialty has evolved to the custom construction of replicas of the cars he reconstructed and customized in the 70's.

Profile: Tom's shop is located in a small town near Rowley Corvette. From time to time he integrates Corvette parts into his projects, whether of GM heritage or not. He only does top notch work using the best available components throughout his projects and as a result his product commands the highest prices. He either builds to order or builds and enjoys for a while. Either way the price range for his cars range from $40,000 to $80,000. Generally they go like hell, are very comfortable, and include amenities not found on their original counterparts. The following is a sampling of the works of Tommy Jenkins:

Detamaso Mangusta under restoration
