by Jim Petrocelli from a body kit manufactured and offered by Rowley Corvette
Supply, Inc. The foundation of the car is a 1980 Corvette. The car was
built from the frame up and was outfitted with a built up engine from Chevy
with modern tuned port fuel injection. The fuel injection provides a level
of engine efficiency not present on older Corvettes. This 400 horse powered
Rowley GTC gets 20 miles per gallon. The lavish interior, enhanced with
Connolly leather, Pioneer CD player, deep moulded Italian styled bucket
seats and air conditioning provide
a comfort level which optimizes cross country cruising.
During the summer Jim flies a Pitts Special airplane
and cruises in his Rowley GTC. He spends the winter months building fast
cars. His next Rowley GTC is going to be "real fast" says Jimmy.
